HERMES–THOTH → METATRON
The system formerly presented itself through the symbolic Hermes–Thoth tradition: the scribe, messenger, translator and bridge between worlds.
The new public identity is METATRON — a symbolic name for the platform's next operating layer: records, stewardship, accountability, documentation and covenant-oriented administration.
The religious descriptions of Metatron derive from particular Jewish mystical, rabbinic and later esoteric traditions and vary considerably by source. This platform uses the name symbolically and does not claim theological authority over those traditions.
The new Metatron protocol is organized around a simple operating principle:

Genesis 1:28 is used here as a stewardship framework: human beings are responsible for what they create, cultivate, organize and place into the world.
Metatron therefore does not merely move information. The system records the movement of information and connects it to people, organizations, missions, commerce and documentation.
Create durable records of approved events, transactions, documents, missions and system activity.
Route resources and information according to explicit instructions, permissions and organizational boundaries.
Separate confirmed information from claims, interpretations, symbolism and unresolved information.
Move approved information through the appropriate ministry, registry, communication or automation pathway.
Respect access controls, privacy boundaries, entity separation and security protocols.
When something is uncertain, missing or unauthorized, Metatron reports that condition instead of inventing an answer.
Metatron does not erase the previous system. The Hermes–Thoth layer remains part of the historical architecture.
THOTH represents the scribe: writing, calculation, documentation and memory.
HERMES represents the messenger: communication, routing, movement and commerce.
METATRON represents the upgraded public layer: recording, stewardship, accountability and controlled access.
